“We are launching the Future Fuel Card, as we are anticipating a much bigger demand for alternative fuels. With the card, we want to support fleet operators in the transition to sustainable mobility by offering them a dedicated supply solution that includes carbon offsetting”, says Sven Mehringer, Managing Director Energy & Vehicle Services at DKV Mobility.

The selected fuels of the Future Fuel Card are CNG (natural gas), bioethanol, biodiesel, hydrogen and HVO/R33 (fully- or semi-synthetic diesel fuel).

The Future Fuel Card will include carbon offsetting by promoting gold standard certified carbon offset projects through DKV Mobility’s partner myclimate.

DKV Mobility customers using the Future Fuel Card can access the entire DKV Mobility acceptance network including all relevant services across all countries.

The card will initially be available in Denmark, Sweden, and the Benelux countries. The extension of this offer to other countries is in preparation.
