Eobuwie.pl will deliver goods within three hours of placing the order

Polish online store eobuwie.pl is testing a new way of delivering packages quickly. The reseller wants to use electric mini-suppliers of Renault Twizy Cargo. Miniature vehicles deliver goods to the customer within three hours of placing the order.

Currently, this mode of delivery is available to people living in the Wrocław agglomeration. The goods ordered online are delivered to customers straight from the nearest stationary store of eobuwie.pl, which was opened in January this year in Wrocław. The whole project is in the testing phase, but if the idea appeals to customers, the company is considering implementing this solution in other cities.

Minimalism in the city

In the beginning, the company ordered two electric single-person suppliers from Renault. This is the Twizy Cargo model, which is distinguished by its small size. The vehicle is less than 2.5 m long and 1.4 m wide. It is equipped with a large trunk with a capacity of 180 l, which can accommodate a load of 75 kg. Charging the vehicle is very simple – just plug it into a household socket and the whole battery will charge in 3.5 hours. It is worth noting that one charging lasts for 100 km, i.e. enough to drive around Wroclaw and surrounding towns.
