The French solidarity food truck network is offering hot meals for truck drivers this week again. Today, all of the scheme’s participating food trucks are offering their meals for free. Here you can learn where to find one of these trucks and what’s on the menu this week.
The French motorway service operator VINCI is showing its appreciation of lorry drivers and other professionals working on the roads during the coronavirus crisis by providing hot take-away meals at the end of the day.
Here is the list of motorway services that have a food truck on site today:
A7 motorway
Aire de Saint Rambert Ouest (direction Lyon> Marseille)
Hours: 17:00-20:00
Menu: ½ pizza + drink + coffee – free on Thursday
A8 motorway
Aire de l’Arc
Hours: 18:00-20:00
Menu: hot dish + dessert + drink – Free
Aire de Reyran
Hours: 18:00-20:00
p.m. Menu: Vegetable ravioli with porcini mushroom sauce or Gnocchi with bolognese sauce or Focaccia salami, mozzarella, artichoke + dessert (chocolate pear cake) + bottle of water – Free
A9 motorway
Lunel secure truck parking (accessible in both directions from the Lunel interchange)
Hours: 17:00-19:30
Menu: tajine of chicken confit with lemon, semolina, tropezienne tart – Free
