The acquisition is part of Girteka’s strategy to maintain a modern, efficient fleet that meets the evolving needs of its customers. The 2,000 trucks, scheduled for delivery in 2025, will support fleet renewal, improving reliability and the company’s readiness to meet increasingly demanding market expectations.

The agreement includes financing provided by Volvo Financial Services, along with Volvo Blue service contracts aimed at keeping the trucks in optimal technical condition.
Girteka has selected the FH and FH Aero models, which come with a number of practical features, including electric parking air conditioning to improve drivers’ rest conditions. The elongated, aerodynamic design of the Volvo FH Aero cab reduces fuel consumption by up to 5%. In addition, the new Volvo Trucks Camera Monitor System enhances road safety by expanding the driver’s field of vision, thereby reducing the risk of accidents and delivery delays.

Each vehicle will be connected to Girteka’s digital systems, enabling more efficient maintenance planning and faster response times when required. This is part of the company’s broader commitment to providing drivers with stable working conditions and reliable equipment – allowing them to focus fully on their tasks.
