John Mitchell (Grangemouth) Ltd, a family-owned business established in 1956, specialises in container haulage. The company employs 200 people and operates a fleet of 130 trucks, a 100,000 sq ft warehouse, and an onsite workshop.
Following the acquisition, John Mitchell will continue to operate under its existing name. Ross Mitchell will remain with the company as Operations Director, and there will be no immediate changes to its services, workforce, or customer operations.
Gregory Group stated that the acquisition aligns with its strategy to strengthen its logistics network. John Mitchell will join other Gregory Group subsidiaries, including Hayton Coulthard, Pollock, and Craib, expanding the Group’s presence in Scotland.
