The Grade-A facility was developed by Panattoni on a speculative basis and is now fully committed to GXO. It will serve as a cornerstone asset within GXO’s UK logistics network.
Located near the M4 and M5 corridors and close to the Port of Bristol, the site forms part of the first phase of the wider Panattoni Park Avonmouth logistics and distribution campus.
The building has achieved a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating, an EPC A rating, and was delivered to Net Zero Carbon standards in construction.
“This milestone letting to GXO underscores both the scale of Panattoni’s ambition and the depth of occupier demand for prime, sustainable logistics space in core UK markets,” said James Watson, Head of Development – Southern England & London at Panattoni UK.
Gavin Williams, Managing Director of GXO UK & Ireland, confirmed that the site would be the largest logistics distribution centre in the Southwest and that it would generate new jobs across the southwest of England and south Wales.
Panattoni was advised on the transaction by Colliers, DTRE, JLL and Savills. GXO was represented by the JLL Tenant Representative Team.
