Established in 2008 as a private company, ATL has evolved into a prominent player in the industry.

Presently, the company boasts a fleet of 120 owned trucks and an extensive network of over 100 additional lorries from dedicated subcontractors. Notably, ATL’s entire owned truck fleet maintains an impressive average age of under 2 years, adhering to a minimum emissions standard of Euro 6. The company has also further enhanced its capabilities with over 250 skeletal, sliding, genset, and multi-function trailers.

ATL will retain its independence as a company and maintain its existing brand identity. The current management team will continue to lead operations, ensuring seamless service to all customers in adherence to existing contractual agreements, Hapag-Lloyd added.

This acquisition by Hapag-Lloyd comes in the wake of a recent trend, with another major shipping player, CMA CGM, announcing its acquisition of the prominent British haulier, Wincanton, in a deal worth £566.9 million.
