The 32,000 m² site, with 12,000 m² dedicated to Purflux, will centralise the company’s logistics activities. It will handle product reception, order preparation, and international shipping. The warehouse is designed to store over 9,000 SKUs and accommodate 20,000 pallets, using high narrow racks of 11.50 metres.

ID Logistics will deploy automated systems to manage storage and order fulfilment. These include Pallet Shuttles, which facilitate automated pallet handling, and a Mini Load Robot, designed to manage spare parts stock. Put to Spot Trolleys with LED projection will be used to improve order accuracy. 49 employees will be assigned to operate the site. Training will be provided to ensure a smooth transition.

The strategic location of Laronxe in the Grand Est region played a key role in the decision to establish the site there, due to its accessibility and infrastructure. The centre will receive products from Purflux’s manufacturing facilities and distribute them to domestic and international markets.

ID Logistics aims to optimise export logistics, particularly for shipments requiring customs clearance. The Pallet Shuttles will assist in managing pallets awaiting customs procedures, ensuring timely movement of goods.

“We have been able to adapt to the specificities of our client and offer them a model that meets their requirements,” said Eric Hémar, Chairman of ID Logistics.

ID Logistics operates 450 sites across 18 countries, managing a total of 8.5 million m² of warehouse space. The company reported €3.3 billion in revenue for 2024 and employs 40,000 people globally. The Laronxe site is part of its expansion within the logistics sector, as it continues to invest in technology-driven logistics solutions.
