French transport and logistics group Jacky Perrenot has completed its acquisition of Vos Logistics, a Dutch international transport and logistics operator, after receiving the required regulatory approvals. The enlarged group now operates more than 14,000 vehicles across Europe.

The deal, first announced in November, has now been finalised, Jacky Perrenot said in a press release published on 28 April. The French company said the acquisition strengthens its European network and expands its capacity in international transport, multi-country distribution and logistics.

The enlarged group now generates nearly €1.7 billion in turnover and employs more than 12,000 people in Europe. Jacky Perrenot said the acquisition forms part of its international growth strategy and is intended to help the group reach €2 billion in turnover by 2027.

Vos Logistics will now operate under the name Vos Logistics by JP. Based in Oss in the Netherlands, Vos Logistics specialises in transport, distribution, warehousing and tailor-made logistics services across Europe. It employs 2,700 people, operates 5,000 vehicles, has 300,000 m² of warehousing space, and has 15 sites across four countries.

Jacky Perrenot is one of France’s major transport and logistics groups, active in B2B transport, logistics, urban distribution and home delivery. The group operates more than 210 sites in Europe, including around 15 logistics platforms with more than 500,000 m² of space.

Jacky Perrenot said the takeover strengthens its presence in northern and central Europe while consolidating its position in international flows and complex supply chains. The group said the combined business will offer integrated logistics services for industrial companies, retailers and e-commerce customers across Europe.

Jacky Perrenot said the integration would be gradual and based on the complementarity of the two companies. The group said it intends to preserve local expertise while developing operational and commercial synergies at European level.
