Kind gesture of a German concern – a cup of coffee to thank truckers for their efforts

Truck manufacturer MAN has decided to thank truck drivers for their hard work during the difficult time of the coronavirus pandemic. Each of them can count on a free cup of coffee at VEDA parking lots.

After reports of shameful treatment of drivers and closed sanitary facilities, it is time for positive information from abroad. The German truck manufacturer MAN made a kind gesture to the truckers.

In times of coronavirus pandemic crisis, professional drivers do extraordinary things to ensure the country is supplied with essential goods such as food, medicines and hygiene products. MAN Truck & Bus Germany would like to thank you for this effort. Truck drivers will now receive a free cup of hot coffee at all stations belonging to Vereinigung Deutscher Autohöfe e.V. (VEDA),” reads the manufacturer’s official announcement. 

“This exceptional time shows the important contribution made by truck drivers and transport companies in securing supplies for the entire population,” explains Christoph Huber, CEO of MAN Truck & Bus Deutschland GmbH.
