In a Twitter post, DVSA Enforcement attached a video to show just how loose some of the items on the trailer were.
DVSA described the attempt at load security as “horrendous”.
To make matters worse, it soon turned out that the haphazard loading was far from the only problem.
As the DVSA noted in its tweet, the operator had no licence and annual test. There was no tachograph in use, neither were there any drivers hours records kept.
