Heavy-duty vehicle manufacturer MAN Trucks is launching a beauty contest that celebrates the creativity and individuality of truck customization.
Whether you have transformed your MAN truck with stunning exterior features or personalized the interior to reflect your style, this competition is your chance to shine.
Here are all the details you need to know about the competition.
Who can enter the MAN Truck Champion Europe 2023?
The competition is open to natural persons of legal age who own or operate a MAN HGV registered in one of the countries where MAN Truck & Bus SE operates an owned European subsidiary.
The eligible countries include Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, and the United Kingdom.
How do you enter the competition?
To participate, you need to complete the following steps during the specified period:
Visit the MAN Truck & Bus SE landing page and fill out the application form with your personal details, including your name, contact information, clothing size, email address, and postal address.
Provide information about your MAN lorry, such as the model, engine, chassis number/registration number, owner’s name, company name, application/industry, and a description of the personalization project and modifications carried out.
Submit four high-resolution photographs, including one of the vehicle’s interior, two of the exterior (front view and ¾ front view), and one featuring you and your truck.
What are the different phases of the competition?
The competition is divided into three phases:
- Applications: Submit your entry between May 11, 2023, and May 28, 2023 (midnight) via the MAN Truck Champion Europe 2023 landing page.
- Voting phase 1: The best candidates per country will be selected through public voting on the local landing page between May 31, 2023, and June 11, 2023 (midnight). Winners per country will receive suitable prizes determined by the respective MAN subsidiaries.
- Voting phase 2: The five best European candidates, including the winner, will be chosen through public voting from June 15, 2023, to June 25, 2023 (midnight). The physical attendance of the five European finalists at the MAN Trucknology Festival 2023 in Munich (July 6 – 8, 2023) is required.
What prizes can you win in the MAN Truck Champion Europe 2023 contest?
The prizes for the competition include:
Top three UK winners: travel and accommodation to the MAN European Truck Champions finals at the MAN Trucknology Festival in Munich on July 8, 2023, and a pair of weekend tickets for the British Truck Racing Championship race at Brands Hatch in November, including hospitality.
Top five UK winners: An exclusive MAN merchandise bundle.
Top five European finalists: MAN vouchers for personal truck tuning worth up to 2 x €2,500, MAN ProfiDrive® training.
