Since Monday, Switzerland have required all who enter its territory to fill in an electronic form beforehand. Although lorry drivers are exempt from the obligation to present a negative coronavirus test result, they too must fill in the form.
Fortunately, the form is available in English and can filled in relatively quickly.
Once completed, a confirmation QR code is generated that can be scanned by the border guards.
Some delays at the border are expected as a result of the measure.
A similar scheme has been in operation in Belgium, although it is about to expire on Friday.
