Mapon, a fleet management solutions provider based in Northern Europe, has announced a partnership with semi-trailer manufacturer Schmitz Cargobull. This new collaboration will integrate Schmitz Cargobull’s TrailerConnect® Data Management Center with Mapon’s platform, enabling access to critical telematics data and fleet management features for trailer operations.
The integration will allow fleet managers to view data from Schmitz Cargobull’s telematics directly within the Mapon platform, eliminating the need for multiple systems and consolidating trailer and vehicle operations under a single interface.
The enhanced system provides fleet managers with access to data on trailer performance, preventative maintenance alerts, and security controls, which aim to reduce risks related to cargo theft and tampering. Additional environmental sensors will offer temperature and humidity monitoring, catering to the requirements of industries handling temperature-sensitive goods such as pharmaceuticals and perishables.
The integration of Schmitz Cargobull telematics into Mapon’s platform is now available to both existing and new customers, underscoring both companies’ commitment to advancing technology-driven, intelligent solutions in logistics and fleet management.
