The Mont Blanc tunnel will be closed from Monday evening until Tuesday morning. Nine more closures are to come between now and the middle of December.
Here are the additional dates on which GEIE TMB plans to shut the tunnel entirely:
– 16 November (Monday) from 10 PM to Tuesday 17 November to 6 AM,
– 21 November (Saturday) from 5 PM to Monday 23 November to 6 AM,
– 28 November (Saturday) from 5 PM to Monday 30 November to 4 AM,
– 30 November (Monday) from 7 PM to Tuesday 1 December to 6 AM,
– 1 December (Tuesday) from 10 PM to Wednesday 2 December to 6 AM,
– 2 December (Wednesday) from 10 PM to Thursday 3 December to 6 AM,
– 3 December (Thursday) from 10 PM to Friday 4 December to 6 AM,
– 14 December (Monday) from 10 PM to Tuesday 15 December to 6 AM.
In addition, between 10:30 PM and 6 AM from 17 to 19 November and from 15 to 17 December, there will be regular alternating traffic related to the maintenance works in the tunnel. According to the tunnel manager GEIE TMB, the toll gates on the roadway towards Italy will be closed on the aforementioned days at the following times:
– from 10:30 PM to 11 PM,
– from 11:30 PM to 12:45 AM,
– from 1:30 AM to 2:45 AM,
– from 3:30 AM to 4:45 AM,
– from 5:15 AM to 6 AM.
Meanwhile, the toll gates towards France will be closed as follows:
– from 10:30 PM to 11:45 PM,
– from 12:30 AM to 1:45 AM,
– from 2:30 AM to 3:45 AM,
– from 4:30 AM to 5:30 AM.
