International hauliers and lorry drivers transporting goods across the English Channel have had to deal with significant disruption in recent days, with less ferry sailings due to bad weather and P&O's suspended services creating serious logjams. As Eurotunnel’s latest update confirms, its freight services have been disrupted “due to a train stopped temporarily in the Tunnel”. The problem has limited departure frequency to just one per hour.

Operation Brock is also in place on the M20 according to the Eurotunnel Freight Website, while there is also severe traffic disruption in Calais. As a consequence, the Eurotunnel Freight website is currently  estimating border crossings times of up to 6 hours either way.
