More truck bans coming to France in February

France’s Ministry of the Interior has published the decree of December 22, 2020, which implements additional bans on the movement of goods via commercial vehicles in 2021.

The ban concerns vehicles of more than 7.5 tonnes of total authorized laden weight (PTAC).

The additional truck bans, which are in February, March, July and August, apply on the following dates:

  • from 7 am to 6 pm on the roads of the “Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes” network, on Saturday February 6th, February 13th, February 20th, February 27th and March 6th, 2021.
  • from 7 am to 7 pm, on the entire road network, on Saturday July 24th, July 31st, August 7th, August 14th and August 21st, 2021.
