The increase in fees on French roads will be slightly lower next year than in 2018.
The toll rates in France are increasing each year according to the operators’ agreement with the state. From February 1 next year, they will be able to raise prices by a maximum of 70 percent of inflation rates.
According to estimates, inflation will amount to 1.40 to 2 percent in 2018. Therefore, the toll rates may increase on average from 0.98 to 1.40 percent from February next year.
According to the French media, the toll manager ASF will raise prices the most, i.e. by up to 2.19 percent.
In recent years, the average increase in road tolls in France has been as follows:
