Authorities in Catalonia have decided to allow roadside restaurants to reopen this Saturday, provided that “hygiene and security measures are respected.”

The decision means that restaurants on motorways and secondary roads can reopen 5 days from now. Other restaurants, cafes and bars will remain closed.

The move follows the decision to reopen roadside restaurants in France, the Spanish region of Asturias and the German state of Baden-Württemberg.
