Storm Gloria is still raging in Spain. There are still many impassable roads in the eastern part of the country.
Strong winds, heavy snowfall and rain hit Spain on Sunday and Monday. There have already been three victims of Gloria . Drivers must expect severe difficulties in this part of the country.
According to the information of the General Directorate of Road Traffic, yellow to black weather alerts were declared for approx 250 road sections, mainly in the eastern part of the country – in Valencia, Murcia, Catalonia, Aragon and in the east of Andalusia. These alerts mean truck bans. The exact locations of impassable road sections can be found on the road information page.
Today, according to forecasts, there could be up to 50 cm of snowfall. From tomorrow the situation in the country is expected to improve gradually.
