A new secure truck parking facility has opened in Remicourt, Belgium, offering 143 spaces for heavy goods vehicles near the E40 motorway. Operated by Hesbymazout SA, part of the Uhoda Group, Truck Park Liège is designed to improve safety and comfort for drivers using the busy European transport corridor.

Located just 200 metres from the Crisnée exit on motorway N30 and around five kilometres from Liège-Bierset Airport, the 28,000 m² site provides spaces for a range of vehicle types, including mega-trailers, car transporters and refrigerated trucks. Electrical outlets are available for refrigerated units to operate without running engines.

Built to the EU-Parking Gold standard, the site is equipped with perimeter fencing, access control, 24-hour surveillance, lighting and cameras. Facilities include a rest and dining area with microwaves, vending machines and hygiene product dispensers, along with free showers and sanitary facilities. Drivers can also access ten on-site bedrooms for longer rest periods.

The site features a dedicated section for female drivers, including a separate restroom, shower and secure rest area with additional amenities.

The project was co-financed by the European Union’s Connecting Europe Facility (CEF), covering 50% of the investment. It is part of a wider effort to expand secure parking capacity along major European logistics routes.

The official inauguration ceremony is scheduled for 4 December 2025, with representatives from institutional and European partners expected to attend.
