It has six wheels, and its shape resembles a small refrigerator – this is what Amazon presented as an autonomous and fully electric vehicle called Amazon Scout. The company has started the tests of six copies.
The customers from Snohomish, Washington, USA, will be the first to use the new Amazon device. To deliver the package on time, the vehicles will autonomously follow the planned delivery route. In the initial phase of testing, an Amazon employee will accompany the machines. Amazon Scout works during the day, from Monday to Friday. The vehicle was created to deliver packages to customers safely and directly.
