In a statement, sennder said Maassen van den Brink would be responsible for setting and overseeing sennder‘s people strategy, which is focused on developing its 1,000+ employees and further expanding its talent pool across all markets.
The company added that it us “continuously hiring, specifically for tech talent”.
According to sennder, Maassen van den Brink’s role encompasses “talent attraction, learning and development, employee retention, diversity, equity and inclusion, total rewards and workplace experience across the organization’s 11 European offices”. She will also form part of sennder’s management team.
Maassen van den Brink has previously served as the first Chief People Officer of Lilium, an air mobility company developing all-electric jets. In her role, Maassen van den Brink helped scale the organization by hiring a talented and entrepreneurial team and preparing the company, from a people perspective, for its listing on the New York Stock Exchange (NASDAQ).
Maassen van den Brink is also credited with her work on the post-merger integration of Vodafone and Ziggo in the Netherlands, and has served as CPO for Maxeda DIY Retail and Vice President of HR at Sara Lee International, a global consumer goods company.
