Trucksters, a Spain-based SAAS developer for shippers, transportation companies and drivers, has  raised €6.3 million ($7.4M) in its series A round. The money will be used to consolidate Trucksters’ three main European corridors, building its presence in Benelux, Germany, and Poland, as well as offering a wider range of routes to their existing and future clients.

The Series A financing round of €6.3 million was led by Kibo Ventures, one of Spain’s leading VC firms; the German venture capital firm Amplifier; and Bonsai Partners, a reputed VC fund from Spain, among others.

The fresh capital will support the firm’s international expansion and consolidate its three main European corridors, building its presence in Benelux, Germany, and Poland and offering a wider range of routes to their existing and future clients. The new funds will also help grow the current team and incorporate new talent.

Trucksters, founded in 2018 by Luis Bardají (CEO), Gabor Balogh and Ramón Castro, developed a SaaS platform for shippers, transportation companies and drivers, that solves problems related to long-haul trucking routes. The company reduces long-distance trucking delivery times by up to 50% by allowing trucks to be continuously on the move through relays.

Trucksters says it is used by more than 500 companies including Lesaffre and Damm, e-commerce giants such as Grupo Seur, and has moved more than 2,000 full truck loads (FTLs) in the past 12 months alone.

As we reported in December, Trucksters previously raised €900k from The Valley Venture Capital and angel investors from Spain in 2020, out of a total of more than $2 million.
