<p data-pm-slice="1 1 []">Spanish freight transport start-up Trucksters has announced the raising of an additional €8 million investment to the initial €6.3 million it netted in its Series A financing round in July 2021. The extra investment takes the company's Series A total to €14.3 million.

Trucksters, a Spanish logistics startup, announced on Friday it is entering into the Central European market by opening a subsidiary in Poland. What's more, the company is planning to open offices in Italy and the Netherlands this year.

German logistics provider Fiege has invested in digital road freight forwarder start-up <a href="https://www.sennder.com/">sennder</a> as part of the company’s June extension to its Series D funding round.

Maersk has announced the acquisition of HUUB, a Portuguese cloud-based logistics start-up that specialises in technology solutions for B2C warehousing in the fashion industry. This is Maersk´s third acquisition this year within e-commerce logistics, and it comes through our venture activities with Maersk Growth.
