Building partnerships in business is a topic that’s increasingly discussed in the transport industry. Ewa Węgorkiewicz, Chief Customer Experience Officer at Trans.eu, and Katarzyna Ostojska, Marketing Manager at Raben, spoke about this during the 13th Women in Logistics Forum. Their presentation, “Building Business Relationships in the Spirit of BE FAIR,” emphasized that technology should be a supporting tool, not an end in itself.
The implementation of Trans.eu in practice
Putting this philosophy into practice, the Trans.eu platform was implemented at the Raben branch in Ruda Śląska. However, the project wasn’t a typical IT implementation. Trans.eu opted for a “tailor-made” approach—numerous meetings with Raben employees helped understand their processes and challenges before the tool was put into practice.
“This insightful approach meant the solution genuinely improved day-to-day operational work,” said Bartosz Lis, a Business Analyst at Trans.eu.
Katarzyna Szafrańska, a Project Manager at Trans.eu, echoed this sentiment:
“From the very beginning, we operated as one team with a clear, shared goal. The key was the openness and commitment on Raben’s side.”
Technology that supports people
The implementation of Trans.eu in Ruda Śląska proved that process automation doesn’t mean eliminating the human factor. On the contrary, a well-designed technology unburdens employees from repetitive tasks, allowing them to focus on higher-value activities.
It is this very approach—combining innovative technology with authentic relationships—that is becoming a hallmark of Trans.eu.
