According to the new regulations, all unpaid fines, road and bridge tolls must be paid at the border. This is possible at all border crossings using POS (Point of Sales Terminals), reports the Austrian association of carriers AISOE.

Drivers will not be able to cross the border if they do not pay for the fines, tolls and bridge tolls assigned to a given vehicle.

Foreign hauliers can pre-check their outstanding liabilities via the Turkish Tax Office 's website (under the section „Yabancı Plakalı Araç Ödemeleri” – Payments for Foreign Vehicles).
