Vinted Go, which is part of Vinted Group, has announced its acquisition of Dutch delivery scale-up Homerr.
Since its inception in 2016 in the Netherlands, Homerr has developed a network of social and commercial pick-up and drop-off (PUDO) points in the Benelux countries.
Vinted Go launched in early 2022 from Vinted’s existing shipping function, with the aim of creating innovative and low cost shipping solutions which are also more climate-friendly. Already Vinted Go is rolling out an own-brand delivery network based around locker PUDO points in France, located in 9 cities.
The parties say that the acquisition will enable both organizations to deepen their C2C delivery expertise, through shared learning and increased scale.
Homerr will continue running as it is today, with its founders Juriaan Matthijssen and Mark-Jan Pieterse taking on senior roles within the combined business.
