In a statement, the company said that its real-time visibility solutions are available to all of its customers – no matter how large or small their portfolio of lanes is.
The service will allow the road freight transport provider to share the location of its trucks associated with a customer’s loads at any time, without any added cost to the customer.
The company has also indicated that together with its partners, the real-time visibility solution can be easily integrated with any of the leading digital supply chain visibility services, enabling smooth integration for Girteka Logistics customers.
The solution has been available for our customers since the start of last month, and can be accessed as follows:
- Via direct links to each individual shipment;
- Via a dedicated dashboard on one of our partner’s websites to overlook each load;
- Through a customer’s digital supply chain visibility service of their choice, if they have already partnered with such a provider;
- Via a customer’s supply chain management systems by the way of integration with our RTV solution.
Commenting on the announcement, Pavel Kveten, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Girteka Logistics European Business Unit, said:
“With our real-time visibility solution, we aim to provide transparent and open transport services to our customers, no matter how small or large our partnership is with them. The ability for our clients to see our trucks will not only help our partnerships become more open but it will also enable our customers to improve their supply chain procedures, maximizing their process efficiency going forward, as they will be able to have more control and knowledge of their transport supply provided by Girteka Logistics.”
According to the COO, the solution is one of the steps that the company is looking to take to only improve the customer experience with Girteka Logistics’ journey of digitalization, as it moves on from its current systems towards SAP’s Transport Management System (TMS).
“As we continue moving to fully integrate our operations to SAP, we begin to see many of the benefits that we can unlock for us and our customers and real-time visibility is just another example of how digitalization will allow us to go the extra mile for our customers’ experience, reducing the amount of work and the improve the resiliency of the supply chains with our latest offering,” concluded Kveten.
