The first truck was handed over on 5 April during a handover event supported by local dealer Domenico Esposito. The delivery marks the continuation of a longstanding relationship between Napolitrans and Daimler.
Napolitrans operates in both national and international road freight transport, with a particular focus on the movement of perishable goods, including chilled, fresh and frozen food products. The company’s operations rely on a fleet of modern vehicles and an internal transport management system to support timely delivery and load traceability.
The Mercedes-Benz Actros L ProCabin is designed for long-haul operations and comes equipped with a range of technologies including advanced driver assistance systems, aerodynamic enhancements, and improved driver comfort. According to Daimler, the truck also features low-emission engines, contributing to reduced environmental impact.
No financial details of the deal were disclosed, and it remains unclear whether the new vehicles are intended to replace existing units or expand the fleet. However, Napolitrans has stated that the vehicles will be used to support its core services in the food transport sector.
