Maintenance work will be conducted in the Liefkenshoek Tunnel today and tomorrow. To minimise traffic disruption, the work is scheduled during night hours, with partial closures affecting one direction at a time.
Tonight, the section of the tunnel heading towards Beveren/Ghent will be closed and impassable from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. The following night, work will take place in the section heading towards Stabroek/Netherlands, which will be closed from 9 p.m. on Friday until 5 a.m. on Saturday.
Tunnel manager NV Tunnel Liefkenshoek asks drivers to follow instructions carefully and use the designated diversions.
