National holidays will be celebrated in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and France on the following dates:
5 July (Feast of Saints Cyril and Methodius)
- Czech Republic – from 13:00 to 22:00. The traffic restriction applies to lorries and vehicle combinations with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) over 7.5 tonnes.
- Slovakia – from 00:00 to 22:00. The ban applies to vehicles with a GVW over 7.5 tonnes.
6 July (Day of the Burning of Master Jan Hus)
- Czech Republic – from 13:00 to 22:00.
13 July
- France – from 00:00 to 24:00. The restriction preceding the holiday overlaps with the Sunday ban, which is why it begins in the early morning instead of the usual 22:00 to 24:00. The ban applies to lorries and vehicle combinations with a GVW over 7.5 tonnes.
14 July (French National Day)
- France – from 00:00 to 22:00.
Block checks at the German-Austrian border
Please note that the Tyrolean government has scheduled four block check dates for July at the German-Austrian border. On these days, lorries will be allowed to cross the border in blocks of 250–300 vehicles per hour. Drivers should expect queues at the Kufstein Nord–Kiefersfelden border crossing on the following Mondays:
