Bans for trucks in Poland in 2019

Check when there are restrictions on heavy goods vehicles in Poland.

The traffic ban in Poland includes vehicles and vehicle combinations with a maximum authorized mass exceeding 12 tonnes.

It applies throughout the country:

– from 6 pm to 10 pm on the day before the public holiday (excluding Christmas, New Year and the Epiphany).

– from 8 am to 10 pm on public holidays.

Calendar of public holidays for 2019:

– January 1 – New Year

– January 6 – Epiphany (no restrictions on the day)

Holiday traffic bans

In the period from the last Friday of June to the last Sunday before the beginning of the school year, ie from June 28 to September 1, 2019, trucks over 12 tonnes are prohibited:

– Fridays from 6 pm to 10 pm.

– Saturdays from 8 am to 2 pm,

– on Sundays from 8 am to 10 pm.
