Belgium is currently requiring all drivers in the transport sector to fill in a form that declares their journey is essential.
The “declaration of honour” document is valid for the duration of time a driver will need to complete his or her journey in Belgium. The dates can be added on the form by the driver.
If drivers enter Belgian territory several times between 27th January and March 1st 2021, they only need to complete the form once and state these dates.
As Belgium made news of the form available at the last minute, many drivers are already on the road and may not have the opportunity to print the document.
In any case, it is worth having a completed digital copy of the document to be able to demonstrate that you are fully cooperating with this new rules.
