The maintenance director of Bruxelles Mobilité has criticised a lorry driver’s “irresponsible driving” after a sharp turn at a city junction saw the vehicle’s trailer knock down an advertising sign and railings at the entrance to one of the city’s metro stations.
The heavy items knocked over by the driver fell into the stairwell below, and could potentially have done serious harm to anyone using the stairs at the time. Fortunately, nobody was hurt.
Writing on Twitter, Dimitri Strobbe described the accident as “dangerous” and said he would be filing a report with the police.
Dit filmpje circuleert op social media. Onverantwoord rijgedrag en levensgevaarlijke situatie. Er lijkt aardig wat schade. We dienen klacht in bij politie. Alle info is welkom!👮🏻♂️🚓 pic.twitter.com/giG0tg6tNJ
