Instead of the current www.mytocz.eu, hauliers from across Europe will find essential information and access the Customer Self-Service at myto.gov.cz.
‘The change of address of the MYTOCZ service is also linked to the change of the informational e-mail address to info@myto.gov.cz. In the first 11 months of this year alone, more than 19,700 messages were sent to this e-mail address,’ reports the Czech transport association Cesmad Bohemia.
According to the association’s announcement, the original domain and email address will continue to function for approximately a year, but communications will be redirected to the new addresses.
‘The gov.cz suffix serves to uniquely identify and provide credibility to the official website of the public administration in the Czech Republic. The change follows more than five years of operation under the current address, which was introduced during the transition to a new toll system operator in 2019. Most web portals of state organisations and authorities will be moved to the common gov.cz domain in 2025. This unification of domains will enhance cyber security and improve the user experience,’ adds Cesmad Bohemia.
