“And we want to thank you very much, because you are very special people” says Trump during Thursday’s meeting in the White House with representatives of the transport industry. The President of the United States focused on healthcare of truckers and promised to amend the provisions which restrict the industry.
The President of the United States invited to the White House the representatives of the transport industry – 12 truck drivers from the American Trucking Association and 10 CEOs of transport companies.
During the meeting with the truckers Trump showed them that he appreciates their contribution into development of the American economy.
America depends on you and you work very hard for America.” – he said.
The President of the United States loves trucks – he had a “I love trucks” on the lapel of his jacket.
In addition to a nice reception and motivating words of the President there were also announcements of changes to laws which restrict the industry too much and provision of adequate health care for the transport representatives.
We’re going to do everything we can to make sure truckers stay busy moving American goods made by American companies and workers.” – Trump declared.
