As the DVSA explained on Twitter, the vehicle had a “Cowboy’s Don’t Care?” sticker on its windscreen.
In a subsequent check, truck inspectors found that the slogan turned out to be a fitting description of the vehicle and its driver.
The sticker obstructed the driver’s view, while the truck’s fuel tank was leaking as well. In addition, the lorry had brake issues.

As for the driver of the HGV, he was found to have been using a 2nd tachograph card, and had only had 3 hours rest in the previous 24 hours.
The lorry driver was “dealt with” by the DVSA and ordered to get some sleep.
The lorry has been immobilised and will remain off the road until repairs have been carried out.
When asked by a Twitter user what the punishment is for the pointless apostrophe in “Cowboy’s?”, the DVSA replied: “Reading sheets of prohibition, immobilisation & penalty paperwork, then hopefully sleeping”.
