The new vehicles will be deployed across Duvenbeck’s logistics locations in Europe and will feature MAN’s PowerLion drivetrain, including the D30 engine. The 13-litre inline six-cylinder engine achieves over 50% efficiency and offers fuel and CO₂ savings of around 5% compared with the previous D26 engine generation, according to MAN.

Alongside this investment in low-emission combustion vehicles, Duvenbeck is also expanding its electric fleet. The company currently operates 15 MAN eTGX electric trucks and plans to add another 15 by September 2025. These include ultra-tractor units designed for transporting loads up to three metres in height. The electric trucks are part of a wider Letter of Intent signed in 2023 for the delivery of up to 120 MAN electric vehicles.

“Sustainability is one of the cornerstones of our corporate strategy at Duvenbeck,” said CEO Hakan Bicil, noting that the company’s purchasing team is working with MAN to develop new solutions.

Headquartered in Bocholt, Germany, Duvenbeck operates more than 50 sites across 12 countries, offering transport and contract logistics services. The company’s ‘Green Logistics’ initiative includes efforts to reduce empty runs, improve route planning, and adopt alternative drivetrains.
