Germany opens border crossings with France and Luxembourg

This morning, six border crossings for freight transport and commuters have opened in two German states – Saarland and Rhineland-Palatinate.

According to the German police, new border crossings for freight transportation and commuters were opened early in the morning. On the French border in Saarland, passageways have been made available in:

  • Niedaltdorf,
  •  Ittersdorf,
  •  Silwingen.

At the border with Luxembourg in Rhineland-Palatinate, the following border crossings have been opened:

  •  Dahnen,
  •  Übereisenbach,
  •  Ralingen.
