Local transportation news portal tungt.no has reported about the incident which happened on Wednesday, 27 October at the Krossmoen station.

Officers stopped an HGV carrying 20 tons of steel beams because the cargo seemed to have been secured improperly. While the beams couldn’t move sideways, there was absolutely nothing to stop them from moving forward or backwards.

The cargo was loaded in the middle of the trailer – approximately 3 metres far from the front wall of the trailer. They were basically lying there loose.

Police officers ordered the company to send a tractor with a steel container and the beams had to be loaded into this coming container, reports tungt.no.
