The transition, which began in October 2024, is expected to streamline Komptech’s logistics operations, particularly in Europe and international markets. The iLogistics Center, located near the Graz container terminal, offers later pick-up times and extended order deadlines. Its proximity to the airport, highway, and railway connections—including the Koralm railway development—further supports faster shipments.

To accommodate Komptech’s range of spare parts, cargo-partner has designed tailored storage systems. These include racks for heavy-duty and long goods as well as automated reordering systems that track stock levels and trigger restocking when required. A permanent inventory system was introduced in 2025 to enhance supply chain stability.

“With our customized storage systems, we have significantly increased processing speed, taking efficiency to a new level,” noted Martin Schenzel, Managing Director of cargo-partner Austria.

Komptech has also integrated digital tracking through the SPOT platform, which allows real-time monitoring of inventory and order status. The system is accessible to Komptech teams in different regions, including the USA, providing full visibility of stock levels and enabling consolidated shipments.

“Our collaboration with cargo-partner at the iLogistics Center Graz enables us to deliver spare parts to our customers worldwide even faster and more efficiently,” Manfred Harb, Director of Customer Service at Komptech, added.

The logistics provider also manages last-mile delivery, ensuring timely distribution through hub deliveries and shipment consolidation. The companies plan to continue refining their logistics processes to further improve efficiency and service quality.
