Referring to the Ireland’s growing healthcare sector in its press release, Kuehne+Nagel said the country is one of the largest exporters of healthcare products globally, with over 50 FDA-approved manufacturing plants.
The new ware house is HPRA-approved and has been optimised for all storage, distribution, and quality activities. According to Kuehne+Nagel, the facility also uses energy-efficient equipment to maintain the warehouse at a controlled temperature between 15-25 degrees Celsius. It will house 34,000 Euro-pallet positions with segregated loading and unloading gates.
Commenting on the expansion, Pamela Quinn, Managing Director of Kuehne+Nagel Ireland, said:

This new facility enables Kuehne+Nagel to support the incredible progress and we are proud to be the partners for some of the largest multinationals and companies within this industry”.
