The Jacky Perrenot Group has become the first company in France to take delivery of a MAN eTGX electric truck. The handover took place on 3 April 2025 at the MAN Service Centre in Lyon.

This marks the start of a larger rollout, as the logistics company has placed a firm order for 40 MAN electric trucks—35 tractor units and 5 chassis—with an option for 60 more. The total planned integration of 100 vehicles aligns with the company’s decarbonisation goals.

The delivered eTGX is part of an initial series of 200 electric trucks produced by MAN for early customers. Since January, more than 100 of these trucks have entered operation across Europe, covering approximately 800,000 kilometres. MAN reports an average energy consumption of 104 kWh per 100 kilometres.

The MAN eTGX offers a range of around 500 kilometres and supports fast charging with both CCS and MCS systems. The truck’s modular battery design allows for configuration based on different transport tasks.

The Jacky Perrenot Group, headquartered in Saint-Donat-sur-l’Herbasse, has been working with various partners to reduce emissions across its operations. MAN described the delivery as an important milestone in its efforts to support the energy transition in freight transport.
