It’s the second year for Swedish drivers to raise money via the “We who run for the Childhood Cancer Foundation” campaign founded by lorry driver Christer Thynell.

During the first campaign in 2020, in which 2000 drivers participated, more than 1.8 million Swedish kroner (which is more than 175 thousand euros) was raised for the cause. This year, more than 4,000 thousand drivers have already joined the effort.

Besides the one krone for every mile driven during September, many hauliers have also announced that they will double their drivers' contributions, says Christer Thynell to Swedish transportation portal trailer.se.

For more information on the campaign, visit the Facebook group (Vi som kör för Barncancerfonden Sept. 2021) or Barncancer Fonden’s website.
