Part of the Coentunnel tunnel, which is part of the Amsterdam bypass along the A10 motorway, will be closed for maintenance at nights. The difficulties will last until Friday morning.
Maintenance work at Coentunnel will start today. Every night, one of the four tunnel pipes will be closed from 23:00 to 05:00. Rijkswaterstaat (the office of the Directorate-General for Public Works and Water Management ) organizes inspections and works in such a way as to minimize inconvenience to road users. Therefore, tunnel maintenance is scheduled at night when traffic is less.
On November 11, 12 and 14, traffic will be diverted to other tunnel pipes as marked. Only on the night of 13/14 November can drivers expect more difficulties – traffic in the direction of Amsterdam- Nord will then be directed to the A8 motorway.
