“I’m sure my grandfather Hub and his brother Wim Van Doorne would be extremely proud to see the new DAF Museum,” said Marc Van Doorne, President of the Friends of DAF Museum Foundation and grandson of one of the company’s founders, during the official opening of the renovated facility. Now visitors who will want to learn about the history of the brand known mainly for its trucks have a better opportunity to see the most important exhibits from the rich history of the company.

The museum is located in the Dutch town of Eindhoven and was visited by almost 60,000 people in a record year. The facility is one of the most popular museums in the Eindhoven region (according to TripAdvisor). However, it did not rest on its laurels and underwent a major renovation and extension. The biggest change is the completely new wing with an area of 1,100 sqm added to the exhibition part.

From Friday, November 22nd to Sunday, November 24th, the DAF Museum will have open days with reduced ticket prices. Admission for adults will cost €6 and for children under 15 only €3. More information can be found at www.dafmuseum.nl or on the museum’s Facebook page.
