Aldi has announced it is to start a new pizza delivery service across three cities on Tuesday 3rd October.
The budget supermarket chain says customers can pre-order pizzas for just £3.99 each, including delivery.
The cities included in the new service are Manchester, Edinburgh and Cardiff. Aldi says it has also launched during University Fresher’s Week in order to target prospective new student customers.
Orders will be sent to selected postcodes at pre-booked delivery timeslots via a dedicated website.
Commenting on the launch, Julie Ashfield, Managing Director of Buying at Aldi UK, said:
“With prices of takeaways soaring, we’re excited to be able to offer shoppers delicious pizzas at a fraction of the price of expensive high-street chains. The quality ingredients and affordable price of the Ultimate Takeaway range will no doubt change people’s idea of the supermarket pizza. Better yet, we’re thrilled to be able to deliver this product hot to shoppers’ doors and truly treat our customers to the full takeaway experience.”
