Developed in partnership with supermarket chain Jumbo and transport provider SVZ, the truck is specifically designed for urban logistics and refrigerated deliveries. It features a low-entry cab, multiple cameras for improved visibility, and a sliding passenger door for enhanced safety.

The pilot program in Amsterdam aligns with the city’s commitment to sustainable transportation and its plans to implement zero-emission zones starting in January 2025. The lorry’s refrigeration capabilities make it suitable for transporting fresh produce to Jumbo’s supermarkets within the city centre.

The collaboration between Renault Trucks, Jumbo, and SVZ demonstrates a shared commitment to reducing carbon emissions and promoting eco-friendly urban logistics. The Oxygen project represents a significant step towards a more sustainable future in urban transportation.
