The measures adopted by the authorities in the districts of St. Johann im Pongau and Hallein, located in the Salzburg region, will apply from 18 and 17 April respectively, until 26 June 2025. They include a ban on exiting the A10 motorway onto local roads.
It will be prohibited to enter adjacent roads at the following exits from the A10 (Tauernautobahn) motorway — although traffic with a destination in the Salzburg region is exempt from this ban:
- Exit Puch-Urstein (Exit 11) towards Villach to the Urstein Süd municipal road
- Exit Hallein (Exit 16) onto the L107 Wiestal Landesstraße
- Exit Golling-Abtenau (Exit 28) onto the B159 Salzachtal Straße
- Exit Kuchl (Exit 22) onto the B159 Salzachtal Straße
In addition, the authorities of St. Johann im Pongau are introducing exit bans at the following points on the A10 motorway:
- Exit Pfarrwerfen-Werfen (Exit 44) onto the L229 Affenwenger Landesstraße
- Exit Eben im Pongau (Exit 60) onto the B99 Katschberg Straße
It will also be prohibited to use the exits from the Landzeit network service stations (Gasthof Nord and Gasthof Süd) onto adjacent municipal roads. However, these restrictions do not apply to vehicles transporting goods for unloading or loading in Salzburg.
